The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), through Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ), is responsible for the provision of port pilotage services for the Port of Brisbane under the Maritime Safety Queensland Act 2002. MSQ provides port pilotage services in Brisbane through a contractual arrangement. The existing contract expires on 31 December 2020. TMR will conduct an industry briefing on Thursday, 12 December 2019 between 12:30 and 1:30pm at 61 Mary Street, Brisbane.
