Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, National Red Imported Fire Ant Eradication Program will be seeking Offers from suitably qualified suppliers to provide specialised odour detection dogs up to 2027.

The Program envisages that the Tender will be released to the market 1st March 2020, providing interested party’s time to consider the opportunity and respond.

Subject to the Program receiving submissions, you will be offered an opportunity to attend an industry briefing and site visit and shortlisted vendors to present their concepts and provide a detailed presentation as part of the Invitation to Offer (ITO) process. 

The Program will consider proposals that support the eradication of fire ants, and the aligned vision with the Program’s strategic 10-year plan.

The Invitation to Offer will be released through the Queensland Government QTenders website.
