The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for submissions for the design and construction of the hall extension at North Arm State School located at Fairhill Road, Yandina QLD 4561.

The works include the relocation of existing water tanks and an extension of the existing multi-purpose hall to create a new stage, PWD amenities, two (2) change rooms, three (3) stores and a foyer area.  Works include the refurbishment of the existing kitchen.  The position of the existing Multi-Purpose Hall is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space.  All works are to be completed by June 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $2,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum QBCC (Low Rise) builders licence will be required for this project.  Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordnace with the contract.
