Tender Overview

The Deprtment of TRansort and Main Roads - RoadTek plan establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for the provision of safe and efficient Plant & Truck hire (with operator) for the effective delivery of civil construction and maintenance projects within the Far North District.

The Invitation to Offer will be available for Download via Qtenders on Wednesday 11th March 2020.

An Industry briefing will take place on Friday 20 March 2020 commencing at 9:45 am for a 10:00am start at RoadTek Manunda Depot, 9 -17 Adelaide Street Manunda; if sufficient interest a second briefing may be conducted in the afternoon.
Offerors who do not attend this industry briefing will still be eligible to submit an Offer for evaluation.   However, if an Offeror or potential Offeror does not attend the industry briefing the Principal will not be required to provide any information which is delivered during the briefing.
The Industry briefing provides the opportunity for potential Offerors to gain a clearer understanding of particular areas of the Invitation including but not limited to:
• Background and Principal’s strategy;
• Overview of the Specifications;
• Insurance requirements;
• Delivery requirements;
• Conditions of Offer;
• Conditions of Contract; and
• Submitting an Offer.
Attendance at the Industry Briefings is limited to 2 representatives from each potential Offeror, with each session limited to a maximum 40 attendees.
Offerors are to advise details of attendees to this briefing via email by COB Friday 13 March 2020 to Scott Irvin, rtcnsplanthire@tmr.qld.gov.au
Offerors are advised that the provisions specified in clause 8 of the Conditions of Offer Version 004 – dated 1 July 2012 will apply to any Industry Briefing conducted as a result of this Invitation Process.
