Section 1

Tender Overview

Tenders are invited for the provision of Flexilink trial public transport services.

This contract is structured into two (2) portions, with services to be provided between:

Portion A – Conondale to Maleny (via Witta)
This Flexilink service enables patrons to connect with the existing scheduled public transport services in Maleny, and can operate up to three (3) times a day, six (6) days a week, depending on bookings. Currently this service carries an average of 330 passengers per month, with an average of 151 booked services per month.

Portion B – Peachester to Beerwah
This Flexilink service enables patrons to connect with the existing scheduled public transport services in Beerwah, and can operate up to three (3) times a day, six (6) days a week, depending on bookings. Currently this service carries an average of 25 passengers per month, with an average of 22 booked services per month.

Council will award both portions to one (1) Contractor.  This is a Schedule of Rates contract, and services will commence on 1 July 2020.
