Tender Overview

Tenders are invited for an off-street car park management and access control systems for the 700 space Brisbane Road Multi-deck Car Park in Mooloolaba, currently under construction.

Council is seeking both the product and an implementation partner.

The car park has two discrete sections comprised of a ground level car park, and an eight level multi-deck car park including roof top.

The solution will include:

  • Ticketless access control using automated number-plate recognition (ANPR);
  • Boom gates on entry/exit; and
  • Parking guidance system - zone counting including 2 internal Variable Message Signs (VMS), 2 additional VMS signs above each entry driveway off Smith Street, and 2 wayfinding signs at nearby intersections comprising of standard blue metal signs with LED panels.

Council will consider solutions that are Software as a Service (SaaS) or a solution that is hosted by Council. It is expected that the solution has Application Programming Interfaces that can integrate with Council’s enterprise service bus.

The system must be installed and operational by the end of November 2020. The successful Respondent will be required to work with the construction Contractor building the car park.
