Dear Tenderers Re: Removal of Escalator and Construction of Grand Stair, Griffith Health Centre (G40), Gold Coast campus You are invited to submit a Tender for the execution and completion of the works described below in accordance with the Drawings and Specification (if any) supplied herewith, the Griffith University Conditions of Tender & Conditions of Contract for ‘Minor Works’ herein, and any other information issued by the Principal for the purposes of tendering. Tenders close at 1:00pm on Wednesday, 10 June 2020 via the QTenders link associated with this project in accordance with the Conditions of Tender. A Tender submitted late or by any other means than that nominated may not be accepted. Please note that Tenders will be opened publicly. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT will be on Wednesday 27 May 2020 between 10am and 12pm. Request for an inspection time should directed to the project manager. Details provided in the relevant section. Due to COVID-19, all site inspections will be separate and limited to 1 person per company. You are required to check that all Tender documents received match those listed on the accompanying Document Transmittal. Confirmation that you have received all the documents listed is to be provided to the Principal by signing a copy of the Transmittal where provided and returning it to the Principal in accordance with the requirements of the General Conditions of Tendering. If you are unable to submit at Tender for whatever reason, you are requested to notify the project manager in writing stating the reason prior to the tender close date. This will assist us in preparing the tender evaluation, and will maintain your standing with the University as a potential tenderer for future works. Possession of site will be from the date of the Letter of Acceptance unless noted otherwise. The successful contractor will be appointed as the Principal Contractor and will negotiate access to the site with the Superintendent and campus representatives.
