Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is undertaking a process for engaging the ICT industry in the decommission of its legacy Notes (Previously Lotus Notes) environment, progressively transitioning the associated Notes applications and functionality to a suite of modern alternatives aligned with TMR's O365 environment or Commercial-Of-The-Shelf (COTS) alternatives.

TMR is also seeking a Manage Service Provider to take on the current Notes environment, its management and support, delivering the Notes services back to TMR as the Notes applications and functionality transformation plays out.

TMR seeks an open dialogue with industry about best options to fulfil the above objectives during the RFI/ Early Market Engagement (EME) phase that may include face-to-face meetings with suppliers in the form of Discover Days / vendor presentations.
