Section 1

Tender Overview

The Queensland Government is inviting Offers for Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) Enabling Technology. It includes a complete enabling technology platform based on a Commercially Off The Shelf (COTS) Software As A Service (SaaS) components and associated services as described in detail in Part B Schedule TMR1 - Requirements.

Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:

  • As as a Service:
    • DRT App;
    • DRT Website;
    • TMR DRT Application;
    • Delivery Partner Application;
    • Delivery Partner Driver App;
    • Ancillary Services (Transition In, Out and other)
  • Systems Integration Services;
  • ICT Professional Services.

It does not include: 

  1. With the exception of the several Pilot DRT Service Areas, the transferring of existing DRT Service Areas to the new platform. Note this applies to the Pilot Contract only. If the Pilot is successful and a full release Contract is awarded to the supplier, the supplier may be required to transfer further DRT Service Areas to the new platform.
  2. Identification, selection, negotiation, setting up contracts and managing new DRT Delivery Partner services.
  3. Renewal of existing DRT service contracts.
  4. Sourcing of funding for ongoing operational DRT service activities.
  5. Provision of Call Centre Services – these activities will be provided by the Customer’s nominated agents/suppliers
