Tender Overview |

The University of Queensland (“UQ”) is seeking responses to this EOI from Contractors that can provide design and construction services for the Gatton Sewerage Treatment Plan Upgrade Project. The University of Queensland (UQ) owns and operates a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at the Gatton campus. Constructed in the early 1940s by the US Army, the STP now receives sewage predominantly from the campus, however, some inflows are also received from a CSIRO site, BP and McDonalds, and UQ Horticultural Services. Flow into the STP typically averages 130kL/day, however, flows are considerably lower outside of the main teaching semesters. Approximately 480 live in residents and 1665 day students attend the Gatton campus. The EOI is to enable a short-list of approximately 4 to 6 suppliers. It is UQ’s intention that the EOI will be followed by a competitive tender process involving the preparation of financial bids for the selection and appointment of a contractor. All questions, requests for further information or clarifications (questions) in relation to the EOI should be submitted through the ‘Question’ function for this EOI on the QTenders website or via the nominated UQ procurement contact. Closing date for questions is 2PM AEST Friday 17th July 2020.
