Energy Queensland (EQL), through an open market Request for Tender (RFT) is seeking submissions from capable organisations for augmented functional and technical support services for its ERP/EAM SAP systems. This includes support for S4/HANA ERP/EAM, cloud ‘as a service’ systems (including SAP Ariba and SuccessFactors) and other complementary systems.

This procurement activity has been identified through the detailed design phase of the ERP/EAM support model and through consultation with the EQL business and digital stakeholders.

The scope of the successful vendor partner will be to:

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer: upskill and retrain EQL staff to be transitioned to new systems in a Super User capacity and Level 2 Support capacity;

  • Provide an extensible costing and resource model: provide a contractual pricing model that supports future growth and scalability including expediently provisioning (as required by EQL) technical and functional resources to support for larger changes to optimise operational efficiency;
  • Actively manage availability and monitor performance: ensure adherence to platform availability based on EQL’s SLA’s;
  • Become a partnership (not transitional relationship): enter into a partnership arrangement with EQL aligned with EQL values and provide innovative solutions to focus on the end-goals of the enablement of process refinement, cost savings and automation; and
  • Provide a seamless transition in/out: Ensure the seamless transition from existing support arrangements already in place within EQL and from in-flight projects.
