Section 1

Tender Overview

Submissions are invited by Powerlink Queensland for a Registration of Interest (“ROI”) for the supply of a Hybrid SDH/MPLS-TP multiplexer to replace the current SDH and PDH equipment with a single consolidated device which will provide TDM transport and interface requirements.

The ROI process constitutes the first stage of a two-stage procurement process.  The two-stage procurement process enables the Principal to evaluate the Respondent’s capabilities to provide the Principal’s requirements without requiring all Respondents to incur the additional costs involved with the preparation of fully detailed tenders. Only successful Respondents will be subsequently provided the opportunity to submit a tender for the contract to provide the Principal’s requirements.

In the event that a Respondent is an authorised channel partner, Powerlink will only accept responses to this ROI from Respondents who provide written confirmation from the equipment manufacturer that the Respondent is an authorised channel partner of the manufacturer and is authorised to respond on their behalf for this particular Registration of Interest.

Submissions must be lodged in the e-Tender Box no later than 10AM (Brisbane, Queensland Time) on 18 August 2020.
