Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Environment and Science (DES) seeks the services of suitability qualified and experienced Structural Engineer to design a replacement pedestrian foot bridge, associated abutments and boardwalk approaches across Kin Kin Creek.

The successful supplier will be required to produce two (2) separate design concepts to span Kin Kin Creek in the location of the former bridge.

Design is to be carried out in conjunction with QPWS&P, who will have final design approval. Design will have two (2) stages. Stage one (1) will be for concept designs and Stage two (2) for construction and installation drawings to AS 2156.2 and QPWS&P walking track class 3, including construction and installation cost estimates.
