Section 1

Tender Overview

Redland City Council is seeking Proposals from main/head Contractors to undertake the Footpath & Kerb Rehabilitation & Installation Works (Stage 2) across Redland City.

The works are to be undertaken at 18 sites (4 separable portions) and is to be completed by 1 June 2021.

The work to be carried out under this Contract comprises of the provision of all materials, plant/equipment, labour and the performance of all operations necessary for the supply/delivery, installation and construction, supervision and certification for the proposed works/services, which include but are not limited to:

  • Provision of Quality, Construction, Environmental and Certified MUTCD Traffic Management Plans;
  • Removal of existing pathway, kerb ramps, fence and trees (where indicated);
  • Construction and ancillary works (signage, bollards, fencing) in accordance with ‘For Construction’ drawings;
  • Make adjustments to existing infrastructure facilities as required and show in the design plans including hydrant and valve adjustments;
  • Work with the RCC Superintendent and Telstra contractors to identify and make adjustments to existing  Telstra Pits as required onsite and in accordance with the drawings;
  • Consult with Arboriculture services and carry out tree trimming and pruning as required and approved by RCC Superintendent;
  • Concrete pathway construction;
  • Supply and installation of drainage where required and indicated in construction drawings provided;
  • Associated earthworks, landscaping works and drainage (where required); and
  • Installation and maintenance of turf for two weeks (where required).
