Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Resource Centre Refurbishment at Peachester State School, located at 966 Peachester Rd, Peachester QLD 4519.

The works includes new Vinyl Flooring to the Store Room, Music Room, Server Room and Toilet. New carpets to the Library and Multipurpose Teaching Space. New Ceilings, Joinery and Glazing to the Library and Multipurpose Teaching space. New Shelving to the Store Room and Music Storeroom.

The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by 22 January 2021.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
