Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Administration Extension at Jinibara State School, located at 50 Cottontree Dr, Narangba QLD 4504 as part of the SIE (School Infrastructure Enhancement) program.

The new extension includes a new staffroom and kitchenette for staff as well as a refurbishment of the existing reception area to create a new students services entrance as well as a new meeting room and principals office. The position of the building is at the front of the school with adequate site access and working space. All works are to be completed by December 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
