Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the Design and Construction of the Block A Refurbishment Project at Glass House Mountains State School, located at 58 Coonowrin Rd, Glass House Mountains QLD 4518.

The carpet and vinyl flooring, new ceilings, new joinery, new windows and glazing, New Power and Data to two classrooms in Block A. New Kitchenette to Withdrawal Space and New Stormwater Drainage to the External surrounds of Block A Building. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works areto be completed by 15 January 2021.

 

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000

 

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
