Tender Overview

West Moreton Health (WMH) is seeking Proposals for WMHHS105011 - Asset Valuation and Condition Assessments.

The Invitation to Offer (ITO) is issued with the following objectives:

  1. Compliance with best practice and relevant compliance requirements for the valuation of assets and in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards (AAS);
  2. Reliable and objective knowledge of the physical state of WMH buildings and the impacts on service delivery to enable departments to develop appropriate strategies and actions for maintenance, major replacements, refurbishments and investment;
  3. Compliance with the Department of Health (DOH) directive to conduct a condition assessment every three (3) years for all plant and equipment;
  4. To collect informed evidence of the condition of plant and equipment;
  5. To have rigorous processes to determine the remaining useful life of the existing plant and equipment that will provide more certainty for the development of asset management plans and funding forecasts;
  6. To attain suitable data to verify and improve the quality of data recorded against plant and equipment items within WMH asset management systems
  7. To implement a rolling valuation process so that a proportion of WMH assets are valued each year and to ensure all assets are comprehensively valued every 3 years
  8. Review the level of asset componentisation to assist with valuations and day to day asset management
  9. Understand asset lives and values at a more detailed level
  10. Fairly value WMH leases as and when necessary
