Tender Overview

Griffith University invites suitably qualified Architectural firms, independently or in-association, to respond to the Expression of Interest (EoI) for the design and delivery of a new Professional Education Building (PEB) on the Nathan Campus.

The EoI requires that a number of hurdle criteria be met. Respondents who cannot satisfy these requirements will not have their submissions evaluated.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited in Stage 2 to undertake a Limited Design Competition and associated Request for Tender for the design and delivery of the PEB.
The Building has an estimated construction budget of $150M. The EoI document is available from the VendorPanel/QTender website. A stipend will be paid to those Respondents shortlisted to participate in the second stage.

The key hurdle criteria are;
1. The Respondent or its firm in-association must have a substantial Brisbane office that has been operational for at least one year prior to the date of issue of the EoI.
2. The Respondent or its firm in-association must have delivered a university building predominately for academic and learning purposes, within the last nine years and with a construction value of at least $100M (or for an international building, the equivalent if it had been constructed in Australia).
a. If this building was done in collaboration, the Respondent would need to demonstrate their role was fundamental to the delivery of the project.

Additional requirements are provided in the EoI.
