Section 1

Tender Overview

The purpose of this document is to obtain quotations and allow market testing for the engagement of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers

to conduct technical assessments of road assets (identified as potentially impacting heavy vehicle access on local government roads) and inform existing heavy vehicle access resulting from the assessments.

The Strategic Local Government Asset Assessment Project has been initiated to undertake a review of key regional freight routes

in participating jurisdictions and will deliver a program of asset assessments to assist with improving heavy vehicle access in Australia.

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator seeking Proposals for Asset Assessment.

Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:

  • Bridges
  • Culverts

It does not include roads.
