Tender Overview

Information about the opportunity

Experienced Managed Security Service Providers are invited by the Department of Education (Customer) to submit an offer for Invitation to Offer (ITO) No. QED106050 for the Provision of a Co-Sourced Managed Security Service for a period of two (2) years, with a further three (3) x 12-month extensions on offer.

Key Attributes of the Solution

The Contract will cover provision of a Co-Sourced Managed Security Service including:

  • Real-time Monitoring, Reporting, Alerting and first, second and third level Triaging of Security Events;
  • Third level Investigation or Incident Management (as and when required);
  • Reporting;
  • Data Management; and
  • Knowledge sharing and training documentation.

Out of Scope

The following is out-of-scope for this Contract:

  • Creation of Project implementation plans;
  • Creation of Data retention policies and requirements;
  • UAT sign offs;
  • Surveys;
  • Reviewing risk assessments prior to implementation;
  • Feasibility studies;
  • Develop training policies or requirements; and
  • Risk assessments.

ITO Process

Offers must be lodged by 2pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (Queensland) on 01 February 2021.
