Section 1

Tender Overview

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) is seeking proposals for

NHVR 477ICT Provision of Managed Services Agreement

The MSA will cover a wide breadth of ICT services to be either managed, maintained or supported

  • Service desk ticketing system
  • End User Devices (mobile, desktop and telephony)
  • Data Centre and Cloud
  • Network and Infrastructure Services
  • Applications and Systems
  • Key On-Site and Rotational Resources
  • On-Demand Resources

NHVR’s preference is for submissions to be provided by a Primary Vendor, that may have set up a consortium to support its response. As such, the Primary Vendor’s submission may include third-party providers that assist in fulfilling a higher proportion of the breadth of services being offered.

It is expected that a Header Agreement (MSA) is setup through a single Primary Vendor and that this vendor is responsible for account management with NHVR, and management of the third-party vendors that fall under the header agreement

Suppliers who can provide services on a national basis are encouraged to submit.

The objectives are:

  • Establish an efficient sourcing arrangement that incorporates appropriate service levels, key performance indicators, flexibility and security.
  • Increase predictability in cost structures.
  • The MSA will help Information & Technology stay focused on core business, growth and pathways and not get distracted by every-day I&T operations.
  • Increase collaboration with the private sector in sourcing innovative and value-for-money solutions.
  • Improve organisational flexibility, agility and productivity
