Tender Overview |
---|
Surgery Connect is a Queensland Health program where the private health sector is engaged to support Hospital and Health Services to provide public patients with timely access to health services. The program functions as a release valve for the public system, allowing public patients to receive timely care in the private health sector when they would otherwise have waited for a longer period of time on a public waiting list. The current focus of the Surgery Connect program is primarily on delivering category two and category three elective surgery. However, providers under the program may also be asked to provide other health services. The State of Queensland acting through Queensland Health (Queensland Health) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the procurement of surgical services from owners and/or operators of licensed private facilities (Procurement). In conducting this EOI, the key objectives of Queensland Health are to: (a) inform interested parties of the key aspects of Surgery Connect; and; (b) assess whether Respondents meet some of the mandatory eligibility requirements. |
