Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from potential suppliers that are Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and experts in the automotive industry. They must have currency in the latest industry practice and standards, and be willing to develop and deliver training and assessment (services) to new and existing approved examiners (AEs) and Approved Inspection Station (AIS) nominees and approval holders.

The training and assessment must:

  • provide AEs, AIS and nominee approval holders with the required knowledge, skills and ability to perform the functions of their accreditation or approval
  • use an educational Learning Management System (LMS) that provides for online delivery and self-paced learning
  • validate knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the functions of their accreditation or approval

Please note, Proponents are not required to provide a financial offer as part of the EOI Process.

The purpose of the EOI is to determine market interest and identify suitable suppliers with the required experience, capability and capacity to develop and deliver the services. The EOI is the first stage of a two stage process. The EOI process will be used to shortlist potential suppliers. Only shortlisted suppliers will be invited to participate in stage two - the Invitation To Offer (ITO) stage.

For detailed information please review the EOI and related Appendices.
