Section 1

Tender Overview

The State of Queensland represented by the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy acting through Arts Queensland (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from PQC Eligible Tenderers (minimum PQC Level 3) to undertake the following building works project: AQ 018/2021 IR007 Queensland Cultural Centre (QCC) Central Energy Plant (CEP) Diesel Tank Upgrade (the Project)

The Project aims to upgrade two (2) existing underground tank to ensure that fuel can continue to be safely stored at the QCC Site.

The Principal intends to appoint a Head Contractor (building) in the role of Principal Contractor who will be responsible for sourcing, engaging and managing all the appropriate and required industry/trade specialised sub‑contractors required to complete the Works. The detailed scope of works are set out in the ITO and supporting tender documents.

For detailed information on the specific works sought under this ITO, Tenderers must download and review all the "Specification Documents" in "Section 3 - Here is the detail" below.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Mandatory Industry Briefing (MIB) applies to this ITO and attendance is mandatory - refer applicable MIB section in ITO. Tenderers Note: Due to COVID-19 and safety requirements, virtual Industry Briefing session will be delivered by the Principal. Microsoft Teams will be used. Potential Tenderers will be responsible for obtaining and ensuring approapriate access to MS Teams prior to the MIB scheduled date detailed in the ITO.

Site Inspection (Optional). Site Inspection will be made available only to Tenderers who attended the MIB. Refer to section "Site Inspection" of the ITO.

Potential Tenderers must be listed on the Project specific AQ 018/2021 Prequalified (PQC) System "Eligible Tenderer Report" - refer "PQC Eligible Tenderer Report" section in ITO.
