Background:

Brisbane City Council is the largest local government in Australia in both population and budget. It is dedicated to ensuring Brisbane is a great place to live, providing leadership and good governance for the people of Brisbane and managing our resources effectively to support a city that is liveable, vibrant, accessible and sustainable.

Council currently utilises a range of different tools to assist in the identification, administration and response to cyber security threats. Council is now turning to a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) solution to help automate and modernise our cyber security posture. The Cybersecurity Operation Centre (CSOC) is responsible for cyber security strategy, management and service delivery. A SOAR solution will be used by the team to increase general productivity, efficiency, integration and consistency in their security operations centre.

This Opportunity:

Through an informal, non-binding process, Council is seeking:

  • information from the market in order to establish the availability of a SOAR solution that aligns with Council’s current and future security technology roadmap and the development of skills for the team that will be using it
  • to identify potential product and service offerings and to gain enhanced insights into our current plans and the value/benefits that your technology may offer
  • technology demonstrations from technology developers to showcase their solution and further assist Council to identify the appropriate SOAR technologies and to gain a greater understanding of the available options.
