Tender Overview

This Invitation to Offer (ITO) process is for the provision of one (1) Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner required to replace an existing asset at Gympie Hospital nearing the end of its economic service life cycle, together with a supporting post warranty whole of life maintenance service arrangement.
Provision includes, but is not limited to, the decommissioning, removal, trade in or disposal of the existing equipment including make good from the removal and the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, acceptance testing of the new CT Scanner system for the Department of Medical Imaging at the Gympie Hospital.
The SCHHS has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives of:
(a) completing the purchase of the single CT Scanner in a timely manner while achieving optimum value for money;
(b) decommissioning, removal, fixed price trade in or disposal of the existing equipment including making good from the removal of the existing equipment
(c) installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, and applications training for the new CT scanner system; 
(d) establishing a supporting preventative maintenance services arrangement for the life of the equipment that meets the requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) and Biomedical Technology Service (BTS).
The successful Offeror will work in close consultation with the SCHHS to determine and agree a Schedule of Works.  The progress of works shall be communicated to the SCHHS on a regular basis in line with project requirements.
