Invitation LetterReference No: UW000259 Leak Detection & DMA ServicesDear Prospective Offeror, The Northern SEQ Distributor-Retailer Authority trading as Unitywater (“Unitywater”) operates and maintain more than $3.5 billion of essential service infrastructure and supply water and sewerage services to residential and business customers, as well as providing trade waste services to businesses, and 24/7 emergency response. This request is for the provision of leak detection, within the Unitywater service area and forms an integral part of maintaining the functionality of the network which supplies water to nearly 791,000 residents across the Noosa, Sunshine Coast, and Moreton Bay Regional Council areas. We are seeking supplier(s) to undertake Leak Detection and DMA Services for Unitywater. The successful supplier(s) will undertake detection services covering: Portion A: Leak Detection – Water Mains Portion B: Leak Detection – Trunk Mains Portion C: Leak Detection – Emergency & After-Hours Portion D: Boundary Valve Testing Portion E: Fire Flow Testing Portion F: Zero Pressure Tests Portion G: Valve Exercising & Releasing Portion H: Valve and Hydrant Repairs Works Why Have I Received This Invitation?Unitywater has decided to open this invitation to the market via Q Tender. Assessment of OffersUnitywater’s objective in evaluating Offers is to secure the best value for money solution. Unitywater will not be bound to accept either the lowest priced Offer or any Offer not compliant with the requirements of this ITO. RFP EnquiriesAll enquiries in relation to this RFP must be in writing via the ’Message Center’ facility within Scout. All prospective Offerors will be privy to response information. The identity of any Offeror posting an enquiry will not be divulged by Unitywater when a response is posted. Completing the QuestionnaireOfferors are to complete the Questionnaire in full. All questions must be answered using the method of response provided in the Questionnaire.
