Redland City Council (Council) would like to notify suppliers of the intention to conduct market sounding for the provision of services for Recycling and Waste Centre Operations (RaWC Project) at Council’s eight (8) recycling and waste centres.

Upon the conclusion of this market sounding, Council may invite particular suppliers to participate in a closed tender process in late September 2021 (subject to change) to select one or more suppliers to provide the services.

The services include the following separable portions:

Separable Portion A – Operation of Birkdale and Redland Bay Recycling and Waste Centres;
Separable Portion B – Operation of Southern Moreton Bay Islands Recycling and Waste Centres, and Coochiemudlo Island Recycling and Waste Centre; and
Separable Portion C – Operation of North Stradbroke Island Recycling and Waste Centre

Council invites suppliers to express interest in, and provide feedback on, the services offered; please see attached Market Sounding Questionnaire for consideration. Suppliers may respond by email, phone or via Microsoft teams meeting (or similar). Please see attached introduction (including terms and conditions) for more details.

Q. Could I please ask if there is a closing date and time to respond in writing to the Market Sounding? I understand from reading the Introduction that if we would like to have a meeting with Council, I need to contact you by 5:00pm Friday 27 Aug, but it this also the timeframe for submissions if responding in writing?

Council Response: Suppliers may choose whether to respond in writing or via a meeting (or both if desired). The submission date for any of these options is 5.00pm Friday 27 August 2021.
