Tender Overview |

The Queensland Government is seeking Offers for TD21-111581 Gold Coast On Demand Transport (ODT) Trial. TMR is wishing to appoint an operator to trial On Demand Transport (ODT) services in Nerang West, Highland Park and Pacific Pines on the Gold Coast. The opportunity for an ODT service was identified as part of the Northern Gold Coast Area Mobility Study, which identified opportunities to enhance the northern Gold Coast’s transport system to address its communities current and future mobility priorities. ODT is a shared form of public transport, filling the gap between personalised transport and mass transit, which has the potential to provide a value for money alternative to traditional services by delivering improved coverage and greater access opportunities in low density areas at a similar cost. Customers will be provided a trip from an aggregated boarding point close to their origin, on a shared vehicle which will connect them to a set of pre-determined destinations at mass transit hubs or local jobs and services. Please refer to the Invitation to Offer (ITO) documentations for detailed information. Please be advised that a key ITO documentation '09 TD21-111581 Gold Coast On Demand Transport (ODT) Trial - ITO Part E Operations Manual' will not be made available until the Deed of Confidentiality is completed and returned. Please complete '02 TD21-111581 Gold Coast On Demand Transport (ODT) Trial - ITO Part A Attachment 1 Deed of Confidentiality' and return to the Contact Officer via GCODT@translink.com.au as soon as applicable. For all other inquiries in relation to this ITO, please liaise with the Contact Officer via QTenders portal. An Addendum (#001) has been uploaded, please view and download.
