Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new access ramp from the school spine to the sports courts at Tannum Sands SS, located at Waratah Crescent, Tannum Sands Qld 4680 as part of the Ed4All program.


The new ramp is to be concrete with galvanised steel handrails. Site access is not limited and there is ample working space. All works are to be completed by 21 January 2022.


Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
