Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the Design and Construction to Upgrade the Playground and External Areas at Woodford State School, located at 171 Archer Street, Woodford QLD 4514, as part of the Targeted Maintenance Program (TMP). 

The Playground and External Areas Upgrade includes a new Sandpit, Softfall, Dry Creek Bed and Shade Structure as well as the maintenance of Concrete Walkways and Platforms, Timber Decking and Staircases, Roofing, Painting, and Other External Items. The Works are located throughout the School with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by February 2022. 

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: 

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders Licences to undertake the entire Scope of Work
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
