Tender Overview

Provision of Canteen Products a Basket of Goods

Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) propose to release an Invitation to Offer for the provision of canteen supplies to correctional centres throughout Queensland.

Overview:

Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) will issue an Invitation To Offer (ITO) for the Provision of Canteen Supplies as a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for a Basket of Goods consisting of 200 + items made up of personal hygiene, general snack and food products, stationery and underwear, which will be purchased by Internal Canteen Stores and made available to the prisoner population for purchase.

Procurement Objectives:

The procurement objectives include:

  • Obtain a local, consistent and sustainable supply of canteen products
  • Obtain competitive pricing
  • Develop regional capability by allowing regional Suppliers to participate in this opportunity
  • Conducting the procurement activity in an ethical and transparent manner

Scope:

Products to be included under the proposed Standing Offer Arrangement include:

  • Basic Snack foods
  • Personal hygiene products
  • Basic underwear socks and jocks
  • Basic stationery
  • Confectionery

Suppliers can nominate the regions to which they propose to supply and will have the capability and capacity to meet QCS’s volume and delivery requirements for all facilities in the nominated region/s.
