The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new outdoor learning area and storage to the school hall at Bremer State High School, located at 133-153 Warwick Road, Ipswich QLD 4305.
The outdoor learning area includes new landscaping, shade sails, sandstone seating and artificial turf. The Hall storage includes extension of the solid roof with drainage, new metal cladding walls and lighting to the new store room. The position of the works is in the middle of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by the end of January 2021.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
