Section 1

Tender Overview

Queensland Rail has a requirement for a design and construct solution to renew the life expired Fire System at Mayne Control Centre (MCC).

This tender aims to establish a Supply Contract with a suitably capable and experienced Contractor for the design and construction of MCC Fire System ensuring high quality service, achieved deadlines and value for money..

An mandatory site inspection will be held on Friday, 5 November 2021. Registration is required and must be completed by 2:00PM Wednesday 3 November 2021 by emailing the Contract Offier. Please note, the Site Inspection will be limited to 10 people at one time. Depending on number of registered Suppliers and representatives, multiple sessions may be required. Refer to attached Section A - Preamble, Item 5. Site Inspection for specific details. 

Tenderers who wish to access the complete package of tender documents and are interested in submitting a response please follow the below instruction:

  1. Tenderers are to email the nominated Contact Officer (Jade.Pettersen@qr.com.au) to register to access the tender documents and online response form in the Ariba Sourcing system.
  2. If the Tenderer elects to submit a tender response, they must do so by using the Ariba Sourcing system.
  3. Tenderers are encouraged to carefully read all documentation available for download in the Ariba Sourcing system to ensure the tender submitted meets all Queensland Rail’s requirements

Queensland Rail will only accept tender responses submitted via the Ariba Sourcing system.
