Rockhampton Regional Council invites written offers for Tender 14778 - Botanic Gardens and Zoo Playground Renewal, Design and Construct. The Tender is for the appointment of a suitably qualified and experience playground equipment provider to design and construct a new play experience as part of the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens & Zoo Redevelopment. The Rockhampton Botanic Gardens & Zoo Playground is well-beyond its end of serviceable life and is in need of renewal in alignment with current standards; and community expectations for a playground facility. Rockhampton Regional Council (Council) has secured $1.4M as part of the Works for Queensland (W4Q) program for this project. Council requests tenderers to submit up to three (3) different proposal concepts that include multiple options of play experiences, which fit within the $1.4 M allocated budget. Before making a decision on the offers, Council may invite all persons who have submitted an offer to modify their offer to take account of a change in the specification.
