Section 1

Tender Overview

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for Transportable Road Safety Camera Solution.

The objectives that must be achieved include: 

  • Improving road safety in Queensland by targeting road users disobeying the speed limit in risk assessed locations in accordance with Legislative requirements; 
  • Facilitating the enforcement of Offences; 
  • Encouraging safe, compliant and responsible driving in Queensland; and 
  • Meeting community expectations that an effective and efficient camera enforcement Solution will be in operation. 

Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include (In Scope):

  • The SOA and any subsequent Contract(s) for Transportable Road Safety Camera Solution will cover the following requirements (see PART B – Draft SOA Details and QITC Contract – Schedule TMR1 Requirements for full details):
  • Project Management including activity planning, resource management and coordination;  
  • Development of Transition-In Plan ("Project Plan"); 
  • Supply and installation of Camera Systems (Hardware-as-a-Service);  
  • Site fit-out and provision of camera equipment together with associated energy supply and structural support for camera housings and associated equipment; 
  • Provision of Software-as-a-Service; 
  • Telecommunication systems including data communications; 
  • Integration to extract required data from the Solution; and 
  • Ad hoc ICT Professional Services as required. 

It does not include (Out of Scope):

  • In-vehicle Behaviour Monitoring Systems
