FOREWORDS The EOI documentation will be released via SAP Ariba on Friday 10/12/2021. Respondents must be registered as retailers for Small SAC on the National Electricity Market in order to participate. Respondents are required to register with SAP Ariba to participate in this procurement process. To register your interest in participating:
Please note: When receiving the registration email from SAP Ariba, Tenderers only have 24 hours to click on the link included to the email. The Ariba system does not recognise Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail email domains so plan accordingly when supplying contact email addresses.
Respondents are encouraged to read all relevant documentation located at https://www.energyq.com.au/suppliers. SCOPE Energy Queensland’s (‘EQL') network businesses Ergon Energy Corporation Limited (‘Ergon’) and Energex Limited (‘Energex’) consider that future network tariffs will need to address and respond to the significant challenges facing Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs), including increased penetration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) into our networks and the changing ways in which customers manage their energy and use the networks. To support the development of new tariffs that can be submitted for approval for the next regulatory period (2025-30), Ergon and Energex wish to continue to engage with electricity retailers and to undertake appropriate field testing of proposed tariff options through tariff trial in collaboration with 1 or more retailers. The trial represents a unique opportunity for the selected electricity retailer(s) to collaborate in the development and trialling of a new paradigm of electricity tariffs. The selected retailer(s) will be able to provide direct input into the development of the underlying network default tariff that will be taken to trial, and to subsequently gain valuable insights into implementation of new tariffs, via a focussed field tariff trial environment. Please see additional information in the Scope attached to this activity. |
