Tender Overview

Current Suppliers of Classroom Resources under DETSOA65864 are not required to respond to this EOI as this is a refresh.

The department of Education is seeking Expression/s of Interest from suitably qualified small/medium enterprises for the provision of Classroom Resourses.   The following categories are in scope:

  • Books: A written piece of work in the form of either a written text or digital text (e.g. eBook, pdf format).
  • Technology: Products intended for use in a learning capacity in the classroom such as educational robotics and supporting software and applications, standalone learning software, data loggers and sensors and digital devices/resources).
  • Curriculum Resources: Reusable classroom resources used in the education of students (games, puzzles, charts etc.).
  • Consumables: Replenishable classroom resources used in the education of students (e.g. paint, paper, arts and crafts etc.)
  • Sport and Physical Education: Resources used for gross and fine motor skills (e.g. active play equipment, gym mats, play kitchens).

 

It does not include: 

  • Library subscription services;
  • General classroom furniture (e.g. classroom desks, tables and chairs) and play tables and chairs;
  • End user computing hardware (e.g. computers, laptops, tablets), software, services and products which requires an internet connection to operate, printers and interactive whiteboards;
  • Musical instruments and stands (entry-level/student quality stringed orchestral instruments, brass instruments, woodwind instruments, percussion instruments, guitars and sheet music stands);
  • First aid kits/supplies;
  • Small electrical appliances;
  • Fixed playground equipment (slides, swings etc.);
  • Sports clothes;
  • Cleaning equipment and chemicals; and
  • General office/school stationery items.
