The Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (QDAF) is seeking an independent review of two stock assessment reports incorporating four species of sea cucumbers: Report 1) Burrowing Blackfish, and Report 2) Prickly Redfish, Hermanns Curryfish and Vastus Curryfish. The assessments aim to provide the best possible estimates of stock status (biomass ratio and fishing pressure) as of the final year of data considered by the models, which for these assessments is 2023.

The objective of the independent review is to deliver a report that reviews the stock assessments.
