The Gatton Research Facility of the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) supports vegetable, pasture, and grains research and development programs to support food industries and is is seeking Proposals for the Design Only for the Fitout of Retractable Roof Structure CRAVO as part of the Gatton Smart Farm.
The scope of this project is only for the design only of the plant growing components and environmental control systems to be used in the protected cropping setup. The requested design must provide all the information needed to guide the subsequent sourcing, fitting out of components, and operation of the retractable roof structure.
The design must consider that once the fit out of components is completed, the retractable roof protected cropping system will be ready for crop production; this project is to specify a turnkey operation.
