Notice of the upcoming tender

 

WS43992999 – Signs and Labels

 

Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) anticipates releasing a Request for Tender (RFT) in SAP Ariba around the 8th of April 2024 for Signs and Labels.  

 

EQL is seeking the supply and delivery of Signs and Labels (without installation) to EQL warehouses. The requirements will be defined by the EQL technical specifications.

 

Tenderers can submit offers for any materials in the RFT.

 

Please review the Scope to determine if you are a suitable supplier for this RFT.

 

Scope:

The scope of works includes the manufacture, supply and delivery of Signs and Labels to EQL warehouses. This includes the following technical specifications:

  • EQTS 13-01-01 Technical Specification for Signage and Labelling
  • EQTS YL-03-24 Technical Specification for EQL Metering Labels

These specifications set out the requirements for the manufacture, supply and delivery of Signs and Labels for use in the EQL Electricity Distribution Network and work locations.    

 

The RFT pack, Technical Specifications and Response Schedules are anticipated to be available from EQL's online tendering tool (SAP Ariba) around the 8th of April 2024.

 

Samples requirements:

 

Where requested, Tenderers must provide one (1) production samples from each item Group offered within 10 business dates after the date of request.

 

Please note: For groups like A4, A5, E & F there is a range of different types of items, please provide samples for the types of items you will tender for.

 

If the sample supplied differs from the tendered item, then full detail of the differences shall be supplied.      

 

Note to Tenderers: Samples will not be returned to the Tenderers at the end of the evaluation process. Tenderers will wear all costs associated with the provision of samples.  

 

How to Register Your Interest:

  1. Tenderers who ARE already registered in Energy Queensland’s realm in SAP Ariba – email the Contact Officer: bradbates@energex.com.au expression your interest in participating. The email subject heading should contain the event title: WS43992999 Signs and Labels

 

  1. Tenderers who are NOT yet registered in Energy Queensland’s realm in SAP Ariba – will be required to register their interest by sending an email to the Contact Officer bradbates@energex.com.au Continued on next page.

 

The email subject heading should contain the event title: WS43992999 Signs and Labels.

And the email should contain the following.

 

  • Business legal entity name (as displayed in the ABN lookup)
  • ABN
  • Registered Business Street address
  • Contact name.
  • Contact phone number.
  • Contact email address.

 

Please note:

 

The nominated contact person will need to have an Ariba account or register for one and be preferably “Public”. It’s important that this contact is someone authorised to manage sensitive information for your company such as the bank details. The person that you put here will manage your company’s Ariba account. This person doesn’t have to be the person that has the most contact with Energy Qld, but it must be someone that your business trusts with sensitive information.

 

A generic email address is preferable to ensure staff changes don’t impact the Ariba supplier record and/or receipt of event notifications. Additional contact/users can be added by the authorised Contact once registration is complete.

Once the event has been published:

 

1.Tenderers will be invited to respond and will be able to access the EQL SAP Ariba realm via a link contained in the email notification. Please note this link will expire within 24 hours.

  1. Tenderers must accept the prerequisite Bidder Agreement under the ‘Review and Accept Prerequisites’ tab to ensure all system generated notifications are received. This includes, but is not limited to, Content updates and changes to Event Timing.
  2. If the Tenderer elects to submit a response they must do so using EQL’s online tendering tool (SAP Ariba) only. Submissions provided via email or QTenders will not be considered for evaluation.
  3. Tenderers are encouraged to read all relevant documentation located at https://www.energyq.com.au/suppliers
