Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Disability Access Ramp at Boyne Island EEC, located at 61 Malpas Street, Boyne Island QLD 4680, as part of the Ed4All (ED4ALL) program.

The works include the construction of a new concrete access ramp with new handrails and tactile indicators. The site is very restrictive and has limited access. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
