Potential Forward Procurement Schedule - Tanah Merah
The Queensland Government, acting through the Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works (DHLGPPW), is advising of a site visit Monday 29 April 2024.
Please note that this is for information purposes only. (Tender information, including contract documents and specifications will be provided should the tender be released).
Background The department has purchased a former retirement village, Tanah Merah, a 2.3-hectares site comprising of six multi-storey buildings consisting of one community building and five residential accommodation buildings. The site provides 124 fully self-contained one and two-bedroom. There are multiple communal areas on site including an inground heated swimming pool, movie theatre, hairdresser, BBQ area, outdoor putting green, library, a health and wellness centre and onsite car parking.
The department is inviting Registered Community Housing Providers (RCHP) for the provision property and tenancy management services and is inviting Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) under the Homelessness Program for provision of Supported Housing and brokerage.
We are pleased to extend an invitation to you and your team to participate in a site visit for a potential forward procurement opportunity. This visit presents an invaluable opportunity for you to gain firsthand insights into the project scope, requirements, and potential challenges.
The site visit is scheduled for: Date: Monday 29th of April 2024 Time: 10am arrival, 11am arrival or 12noon arrival (one option to be selected) for a scheduled program lasting up to 2-hours per session. Your attendance at the site visit is highly encouraged and must be registered. (An optional 15-minute one-on-one Teams chat will be scheduled, for each attendee at the Site Visit, on Tuesday 30 April 2024 between 9am and 12noon. This is to discuss individual thoughts for the site. Specific times for this chat cannot be requested, times will be assiged on the order responses are received).
